Discovery sprint
Two weeks to find out what the site has to do, what it should run on and what it will cost to build.

Included
- Discovery and requirementsInterviews with the people who use and edit the site, a review of analytics, and a written list of what the site must do.
- Content modellingEvery page type, field and relation written down before design starts, so editors get forms that match their content.
- Technical auditA review of the code, hosting, dependencies and data, with each problem ranked by risk and cost to fix.
Most projects that go over budget were never scoped. In the sprint we interview the people who edit, sell through and support the site, read the analytics, and open up the code that runs it today.
You get four documents at the end of the second week: what the site must do, ranked; the content model, with every page type and field; a technical audit of what exists now; and a fixed quote for the build, or two quotes when there is a real choice to make.
If you book a build package within 60 days, the full sprint price comes off the build invoice.
